Trip highlights: 15 Days Uganda Intimate Safari itinerary will take place in Uganda; arriving and departing via Entebbe International Airport. Visit the Beautiful Murchison Falls National Park for a game drive and a boat ride to the bottom of the falls. There after visit Kibale Forest National Park for a Chimpanzees trek and enjoy a nature walk in the bigodi swamp. Thirdly, visit Queen Elizabeth National Park for game drive too and a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. Fourthly, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park home to the Great Apes for the safari highlight, trekking the Mountain Gorillas. Lastly drive back to Kampala and proceed to Jinja where you will take part in 2 main adrenaline raising activities done in Jinja. Half day rafting and Bungee jumping. You will also have a brief tour of Jinja city and a boat ride to the Source of the Nile.
Uganda Intimate Safari Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival
After arriving Entebbe International Airport, you will clear with immigration, proceed to the arrivals where you will meet your driver guide who will transfer you to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, drive to the beautiful Murchison Falls National Park formerly known as Kabalega National Park. This park derives its name from the Murchison Falls which is a 7 meter canyon where the Mighty River Nile forces itself from a narrow gorge pouring down with a thunderous roar. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Ride to the Bottom of the Falls
Enjoy a morning game drive through the Savanna where you will see herds of Elephants, Buffalos, Giraffes, Kobs, Oribi, Jackson’s Hartebeest and various bird species that include the forest and water birds and the Albertine Rift endemics thereafter return to the Lodge for breakfast. In the afternoon, you will have a boat ride to the bottom of the falls whence the park derives its name. You will see groups of Hippos, Crocodiles, and a variety of animals that come to drink water at the River banks and a variety of bird species too.

Day 4: Drive to Fort Portal
Drive to Fort Portal Town / Kibale National Park. Fort Portal was founded as a garrison for British soldiers by Gerald Portal from whom the town derives its name. And is the only town with an English name in Uganda. Here you will see many tea plantations producing high quality tea for local and export market and views of the mighty misty Mountains of the Moon; the Rwenzori mountains.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk
On this day, you will have a morning Chimpanzee trekking experience in the company of an experienced ranger guide, you will search for Kibale Forest’s resident Chimpanzees and also have a chance to see other primates such as Grey-cheeked Mangabeys, Red Colobus, Red-tailed and Blue monkeys. In the afternoon after lunch, you will enjoy a walk through the papyrus swamps of the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary.

Day 6: Fort Portal – Queen Elizabeth National Park
After relaxed breakfast at the lodge, you will be assisted with checking out and after settling the bill for extras if any start your drive to the famous Queen Elizabeth National Park. The second most visited Park and the most popular savannah reserve in Uganda. This Park has the highest variety of habitats and wildlife too. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 7: Game Drive and Boat Ride Along Kazinga Channel
After an early breakfast, you will proceed for a game drive; through the Kasenyi and North Kazinga plains where you will see herds of Elephants, Buffalos, Antelopes, etc…
In the afternoon after lunch at the lodge, you will have a boat ride along the Kazinga Channel en-route you will see groups of Hippos and Buffalos a few metres away. You will see some animals coming to drink water at the banks and a various bird species.

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth – Ishasha Sector
Early breakfast and start your drive to Ishasha sector famously known for Tree climbing Lions. Enjoy morning and evening game drives. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 9: Drive To Bwindi
After a relaxed breakfast, you will be assisted with checking out. You will then start your drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park home to the great apes the Mountain Gorillas.

Day 10: Gorilla Trekking
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for briefing and thereafter go to the start points and enjoy the highlight of the safari. Trekking the Gorillas is a once in a lifetime experience which takes between 2–6 hours. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 11: Batwa Cultural Experience
After a relaxed breakfast and lunch at your Lodge, you will proceed for the activity of the day the Batwa cultural experience. The Batwa people are one of the oldest surviving Indigenous tribes in Africa. And are the original dwellers of this ancient jungle and also referred to as the keepers of the forest. Enjoying a nature walk and hike through the forest seeing the endangered forest in the eyes of its original occupants and learn more about the pygmy people, how they lived, hunted traditionally. You will have an opportunity to visit a Batwa homestead, visit the medicine man and learn how they go about their daily activities. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 12: Bwindi – Kampala
Early breakfast and start your full day drive having picnic lunch en-route passing via the Equator having a brief stop having a stopover at the Equator; the imaginary line that divides the earth into two halves. You will take part in the experiment at the Equator. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 13: Half Day Rafting and Bungee Jumping
Through Kampala towards the East to the adventure capital, Jinja the home of the adrenaline activities. The exceptional Half day experience takes you through both soft and hard rapids but of course with safety caution all around. Day 14: Lake Mburo – Entebbe
After breakfast, enjoy a brief tour of Jinja town. You will then enjoy a boat ride to the Source of the Nile. After lunch you will start your journey back to Entebbe.
