The majority of the Lodge buildings are raised on stilts made of typically eucalyptus logs while the main Lodge building features state-of-art architectural designs with unbeaten views and sceneries.

Kyaninga Lodge has 9 beautiful en-suite cottages that are incredibly designed and traditionally thatched to provide visitors with a feel of Ugandan culture but with a special touch of modernity. Each of these Cottages features a private terrace, a Queen-size bed with floor-to-ceiling mosquito nets that create an aura of comfort and luxury, soft linen and pillows, stunning Elgon Olive, and a marble ensuite bathroom (with hot/cold shower, a luxurious rolltop bathtub, and double vanity), and a spacious seating area.

Besides the extraordinary Cottages that overlook the incredible Crater Lake and the mountains of the Moon from a distance, Guests of Kyaninga Lodge are guaranteed of enjoying delicious local and international cuisines served in the exquisite dining room. The stunning landscape grounds feature a luxurious swimming pool carved out of Volcanic rocks, a lush croquet lawn, and a wellness center/spa for guests interested in massage treatments on arriving at the Lodge after long journeys or after hectic tourist activities like chimpanzee trekking. The main Lodge building is where the bar and dining areas are found and interestingly, there is a floating jetty for guests interested in kayaking, sunbathing, and boat rides as well as a helipad for small aircraft.
There is also a 200-seater ballroom for the guests on work retreats, and weddings with jaw-dropping views of Lake Kyaninga and the surrounding forest.
Just below the swimming pool exist two amazing terraces that boast one of the most indescribable views of the Lake. The sunset platform is found at the upper terrace and is ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine or any other drink as well as an open fire and BBQ with friends.
