Trip highlights: 1 Day Mabamba Shoebill tour starts from Entebbe town towards the misty wetlands few kilo meters from the main road.
After breakfast, drive to Mabamba Wetland. This can be accessed from either Kampala or Entebbe. The Mabamba swamp is located on the fringes of Lake Victoria. The main attraction in this swamp is the Shoebill stork.
You will take a motorized traditional canoe as you search the rare Shoebill stork in the papyrus. Along with a birding guide with a good eye you will search for this bird.
This swamp is birders haven. You will get to see other bird species like; Swamp flycatcher, Grey-rumped swallow, Yellow-billed duck, African Jacana among others
After this wonderful birding experience you will dropped off at your preferred point.
