Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Still on the 4 Days Gorilla Trekking & Lake Bunyonyi Adventure, after breakfast, you will gather at the park headquarters for a briefing by the park rangers prior to your gorilla trekking experience. Trekking the gorillas in the forest may take two to six hours, depending on the way the animals move.

After spending an hour up close and personal with the gorillas, travel to the park headquarters to sign out and get certificates. Head to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. You might choose to go on an optional evening community walk in the neighbouring Batwa community, where you’ll be entertained and told stories about their distinctive way of life.

Day 3: Journey to Lake Bunyonyi. Guided Boat Tour.

Sights of Lake Bunyonyi.

After the morning meal, you will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi while taking in the gorgeous scenery along the way. A legend has it that Lake Bunyonyi is the deepest lake in Uganda and the second-deepest lake in Africa.

Since there are no animals present, swimming is safe. However, it is advisable not to go far in the lake considering its depth. There are 29 islands in the lake. These add-up to the spectacular views unveiled at the site that have since then earned it the nickname – “Switzerland of Africa”.
After lunch at the resort, you will proceed on a two and a half hour guided motorised boat ride around the lakes.
You will thereafter return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer Back to Kampala. Multiple Stopovers along the Way for Sight Seeing.
Beautiful Hilly Terrain of Western Uganda.

Shortly after breakfast, you will travel back to Entebbe or Kampala, stopping for lunch along the way. There will be multiple stops along your journey where you will take in the amazing country’s landforms.

This is because of Uganda’s immense natural wealth, with the western region serving as a highlight of the nation.

Upon arrival in Kampala, you will either be dropped off in town or at the Airport for your flight to the next destination depending on your plans.
