Half Day Rafting and Bungee

Trip highlights: Half Day Rafting and Bungee tour starts from Kampala as you drive to Jinja town. In this itinerary you will take part in 2 main adrenaline raising activities done in Jinja concurrently. Half day rafting and Bungee jumping.

Firstly, after breakfast drive through Kampala towards the Eastern part of Uganda. Evidently enjoy the scenery of sugarcane, tea plantations, open plains and Uganda’s natural forest, Mabira Rain. Finally, after 2 hours you will be in Jinja town and the rafting starting point.

With the necessary gear you will board the boat and then be taken through safety drills that were mentioned during the briefing session. You will then proceed for a half day rafting experience, starting with simple rapids as you progress on to the intense ones stopping half way the course.

You will then proceed to the Bungee jumping starting point. You will be briefed while here too, before the activity. One needs to prepare psychologically before taking part in this activity. The participants can be tied in two different ways; either ankle tie with your face looking down or the whole body tie allowing you to fly like a butterfly. You will then jump off the tower diving down and touching the River Nile. The main thrill comes when you fall then rebound softly over and over again before touching the waters.

After a wonderful lunch, drive back to Kampala before the harsh hours to the departure point.
